Controversial 70's British film. Brutal as it is, it's actually a remake of a banned TV play that was apparently even more extreme.

Classic Smile. I should re-watch it someday.

No. I read a few King novels some years ago, but mostly the original seven Dark Tower ones and a few of his early ones.

I can see this being one of those films that I watch many times.

This is the second time I've watched this and the second time I've felt that although it was his breakthrough film it's actually far below the standard of Scorsese's other work.

This was no Oldboy, but it was a very good film as well. Still need to track down Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, the first film of the Revenge Trilogy.

^Oldboy (the original) is a fucked up and really great movie. A agree that Lady Vengeance isn´t quite as brilliant, but it´s still a great movie and a study in eerie unpleasantries. Mr. Vengeance is definitely worth tracking Down too.

Saw this some years ago on VHS, but didn't recall a thing about it. Not classic Carpenter that's for sure. It's okay.

This was very weirdly done for a biopic.

Excellent recent western.

The quote on this film poster pretty much sums this film up, but I wouldn't call it a rip-off exactly, though it does deal with a similar theme and is very psychological.

It's twist was pretty obvious early on, but this was quite a disturbing and sadistic movie all the same.

Second watch. Haven't seen many werewolf movies, but this is certainly the best of those I have.

Decent true crime biopic.

Incredibly boring supernatural horror movie - a total waste of time. Only stayed with it because it wasn't very long, but still that's 90 minutes of my life I won't get back.

It's been years since I watched the first two films and I don't recall too much about them beyond the basic premise. I thought this was okay, certainly better than I'd been led to expect.

none of them beat the Japanese originals Big smile, watch those if you can

Both American sequels were pretty awful if you ask me.
