Continuing with my Cagney trend, I watched "Each Dawn I Die" last night. I'm glad I chose that over watching the Leafs game .

Pretty great movie, which is based on the memoirs of Ian Curtis wife Deborah. Sad and depressive stuff.

Oh God that ear scene. Fucking brilliant. I can't listen to Stuck In The Middle without being reminded of this movie.

Shrink - a good movie starring Kevin Spacey; Robin Williams has a supporting, small role.

I've been watching a bunch of old James Cagney films (White Heat, G-Men, City for Conquest, among others).

Saw The Woman in Black...better than I expected, but expectations weren't all that high. Really good acting for a horror flick.

Yep, shocking is an excellent word to describe it. The fact that all of the children in the film are actual refugees, many of whom probably lived through similar (or even identical) situations, makes the story even more amazing. It's a shame this film went rather unnoticed by most people. |

saw this movie, too; "shocking" is the only adjective I can associate to discribe it.

Midnight in Paris was really enjoyable.
Being a critic I would give it a lot lower score than just being a viewer based on how much I enjoyed it...just don't get caught up on the flaws and sort of enjoy it for what it tried to be.
