They're definitely one of my favourites. And it's impressive how they're still regularly putting out albums (and albums of quality) when their major contemporaries have all really slowed down.

Grave Digger is one of those bands that I've really liked all that I've heard from them, but they've got such a massive discography that it becomes overwhelming to delve more. Not that I haven't listened through extensive discographies before, but I just haven't gotten around to more than a few albums.

The most essential three are The Middle Ages Trilogy. I can see you've rated two of these already so a good one to go for next would be Knights of the Cross.

I remember not being able to find that on Spotify or Youtube before, but it looks like it is now. I'll listen to that next then.

Writing a bio for Mushroomhead (the old one was a copy-paste that was really out of date), and completely forgot about these guys! Jeffery Nothing is such a great vocalist.

It's great, as usual, though it actually feels somewhat the opposite of their last one: Where that was possibly their most aggressive release to date, this one feels a lot lighter. It doesn't quite have the rawer sound of Armod, yet it's definitely their most folk infused album aside from that one, and doesn't have a lot of pure power metal, by my judgment.
