On the one hand, I sure am glad this isn't their first album I heard, because if it was I likely wouldn't have bothered to check out their first two albums, which meant I would have missed out on some excellent prog. On the other hand, listening to this after knowing how good this band can be, is utterly heartbreaking. So much garbage djent here, as well as some sleep inducing sections. Disappointment of the year, by a lot. Barely even listenable in spots.
