Only the dead have seen the end of war. Without music, life would be a mistake.

This didn't do much for me on first listen, so I'm hoping it opens up to me this time around.

I always found this album fascinating, because the vision and brilliant songwriting were already fully intact, but the lower budget definitely held it back a bit, compared to some of his later albums. In particular, the vocals are, uh, not the best at times (Eyes of Time in particular is pretty much ruined by its main singer, despite being awesome musically.)

Revisiting this one, and it's definitely a 5 star album. One of my favorite folk albums, for sure. Adam, would you say any of their other albums are comparable in style to this, and is so which ones? Because their two I tried were heavier and more black metal influenced than this, and I love the style of this album.
