So, the guys at ProgArchives told me that there was this forum, but dedicated to Metaaaaal!
......

Hmmm, sorry, I try again: so, I came here to talk about Metaaaaal!
......

Well, some reflexes are hard to lose, but, hey, that's what happens when one listens to Metal for 20 years.

Well, still hooked to traditional hard-rock and heavy-metal (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Blue yster Cult, Thin Lizzy...), ingurgiting my daily dose of death-metal, awaiting a new wave of funk-metal/fusion bands (I mean bands like Living Colour or Fishbone), and trying to cope with new bands such as Genghis Tron or Iwrestledabearonce.

Welcome!  I definitely recognize the name from Prog Archives, though I haven't actually been over there in months.  Is your name a Star Trek reference or from your actual name?  It's just that whenever I see the name Picard the first thing that springs to mind is Jean-Luc. LOL

No, my actual name.
Using my actual name is a psychological device to prevent me from telling nasty things.

Well, at least, that's the theory!...

The Old Ones: Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Entombed, Loudblast...
I've left the game a few years ago, so I can barely name a few new bands such as Landmine Marathon or Putrefied Beauty.
