To me, growl/scream vocals are kind of like hot sauce. Some people can't stand them at all. I like it, but mixed in with actual food. A band that only ever growls/screams is like guzzling hot sauce straight from the bottle. IMO |

I'm not sure I understand the point. I mean, I would hate an album that is JUST solitary growls as well, but if there's good music behind it (as there is in the case of Death) it works well.  |

^ I think Geoff was referring to my comment where I poked fun at his comparison of death growls to hot sauce - I was essentially claiming that growls WITHOUT any music are boring, but with good music backing it up can be glorious. (If that makes sense
