Battle of the Bands

I'm honestly surprised this forum hasn't got this game yet, it's been present on every forum I've been a part of.

Some consider this game silly, others lap it up. I personally find it an excellent indicator in regard to what bands are highly regarded in a community and which are frowned upon. 

The rules vary but the basic premise is I, as the first poster, pick a small group of bands as the starting list, and then each poster that follows takes 1 point away from one band (KILL) and gives it to another (SAVE). Bands start on 20 points. Bands that reach 40 are considered saved and enter the hall of fame. Bands that reach 0 on the other hand are considered killed and enter the hall of shame.

You can post as many times a day as you like but you must have at least three other posters before you can post again.

You cannot re-enter bands once they make either the HoF or the HoS. 

When you save or kill a band, you also add a new band for the next poster. Just to keep things MMA relevant, you can only enter bands that are listed on MMA. 

I did consider starting the list with the artist who made the top album from each sub, but that would be 20 acts which is too big. 8 acts to start is about normal. I've chosen the 8 eight bands that made the current top 8 albums on MMA.
