So every time I come to the forum, it says there are no new posts. But I can see that there have been posts in some of the threads I'm interested in...is the "New Posts" feature not working?

What browser are you using? I had that problem occasionally with my older version of Firefox, but now that I'm on the latest (3.6 was still better k) it hasn't happened yet.

When I'm at home, Firefox 13.0 (Beta). When I'm out, the Android browser.

Does the problem happen with both?

Actually...it seems to only happen when I'm using Firefox. That's a good point.

It's probably something to do with the forum software. I have this issue more often with progarchives, like I said it hasn't happened since I updated my ffox but that might just be luck. I don't remember it ever happening when I used Chromium.
I wonder if we should tell phil or max |

Strange, so for once Firefox may be the buggy one?
I'm still not sure on the exact circumstances of this - I'm thinking it may possibly be happening when I switch from one to the other - like, if I check the forum, then go out, and use my phone to check it, or the other way around. |

Which feature are you talking about-the list of threads with new posts at the bottom of the page, or the one for each individual thread? The one at the bottom of the page always works for me (except it doesn't show Just For Fun threads), but the one for individual threads rarely works.
I'm using Firefox too but I don't know which version it is. I assume it's up-to-date though. Edited by Diogenes - 28 May 2012 at 10:32am |
