A couple more grind releases I'm fond of, not quite on the same pinnacle as Horrified or World Downfall, but still oldschool classics.

Unseen Terror's Human Error

Came out in 1987, should be more well known than it is imho.

Fear Of God's Pneumatic Slaughter

Late 80s noisegrind, one of the first and one of the best in the noisegrind/noisecore genre.

I'd probably have to go with Fear Of Napalm as my favorite, the opening bass grumbling into one of the best grooviest, grindcore riffs just hasn't ever been equaled since. Looking at the rating/reviews here I'm surprised it's mostly above average overall Shocked

So we DO have a grindcore appreciation thread! I've never looked this far back before.

One of my new favourites Phyllomedusa is on a bit of a binge at the moment, releasing heaps of shit leading up to Halloween. I don't really know why I like this so much, but sometimes it just hits the spot.

Here's the latest one I've reviewed. It's a bit noisy.

Boy does this thread need a bump.

And im going to bump it with a bang thanks to Watchmaker. Easily one of the most intense grind acts to exist.

They are not prototype grindcore, but more a brutal hardcore act with grindcore leanings. The new album sounds more grindcore influenced than the predecessor though.

I Know quite a few that need to be added, but I want to get all the bands that are in Grindcore already, all uptodate with discogs etc..., and It really gets tireing with their ludicrous amout of releases.

http://sixbrewbantha.bandcamp.com

also forgot a crucial addition to the above post.  given that this site spawned from a prog rock forum i think anybody on here into grindcore at all will absolutely love this band:

yes that's a 10 minute grind song.

Yeah this site is missing quite a few grind bands, and there aren't too many grind fanboys here either. I have not been adding grind bands because i'm trying to get rhough updating and making sure all the grind bands discogs are up-to-date.Smile

Cool about the Lp and tourThumbs Up, I can add you guys to grindcore seeing as you have some demos and splits released.

Also if you want long grindcore songs, then try these monsters out for size.
This band (http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/a-team.aspx?ac=a-t) has two songs on their full length that are over 20 minutes longConfused.

if you want to make a list of grind bands that need adding, im sure that would help (it would help me for sure) .
