Despite BTBAM being one of the best metalcore bands that I've heard, they're mediocre compared to Opeth and Orphaned Land, in my opinion.

Neither am I, except for PTH. I used to be a fan of Spiral Architect but I don't know what they are classified as. Just to say though, I generally prefer clean vocals at this point in my life.

The Great Misdirect is pretty fantastic and Colors is the only other album of theirs I've heard, but so far haven't had time to really dig into it. Seems I really should, but now it's no vote from me.

Have yet to enjoy The Great Misdirect, but I'm pretty sure it's amazing. Right now, I'd have to go for the Silent Circus. Colours might be more mature, focused and whatnot, but I simply enjoy SC more.

BtBaM seem to be getting more attention recently. That is most definitely awesome, because I love them.Wink

Agreed. I remember listening to one of their songs and the music was so awesome but then the vocals came on and completely ruined the song.
