what's Lulu doing in the list? LOL

the metalcore in the list is lame (except for Trivium, although i have not listened to that album yet)

In Flames at number 1? The album was not that great. Good, but not great

LOL table rock!!  So more people listened to Lulu than actual Metallica albums, or would that be the sum of any Lou Reed and any Metallica listens?

I'm not surprised by Mastodon, In Flames, DevilDriver, Machine Head and Five Finger Death Punch. Lulu is a huge surprise though, I wonder if Nicholas Pell is right after all (http://www.metalsucks.net/2011/12/01/nicholas-pells-top-fifteen-albums-of-2011/#more-78600).

I'm surprised at the lack of All Shall Perish and Opeth though (unless Last.fm doesn't consider them metal).

The inclusion of "Lulu" is not surprising to me. Because of their mainstream success, it is much more likely that more people (not just talking metalheads here) listen to Metallica than to Opeth or All Shall Perish.

I hope this guy's prediction will be wrong and Lulu will get mocked at for the next 20 years, as it deserves.

I'm sure that most Slayer fans are too old to be bothered using Last.fm ;-)
