As everybody knows I have a thing for African music. Syllart released a heap of albums from the Golden Years 1960's to mid 80.s from the Dem. Rep. of the Congo or Zaire if you missed the name change a few years back. Anyway I own some already and once these go out of print I doubt very much if they would ever be reissued . I really like Tabu Ley Rochereau,Mbilia Bel and Grand Kalle. Classic Zairean Rhumba with heaps of that skippy guitar and horns of course. The Madilu one is not Syllart but on the PAV label.

Volume 2: 1967 - 1968 - 1970Kaful MayayLAfrisa International: 1971-19771971 - 1972 - 1973

All of them are African Legends Smile

Edit: Oh! And the same one as the above poster, Joni rocks!
Edit #2: Haha, I didn't actually read the above post, just saw the picture. I don't know Pekka likes it, but I'm enjoying it, a few melodies feel reused, overall great though
