Norwegain metal that is not black metal

i just want to bring up the topic of Norwegain metal as i seem alot of the bands have not been rated yet but their music is very good and high rating at home. one band i would like to focus on in my part is Stonegard, a norwegian really good band with heavy riffs and wonderfull vocals,

what are your thoughts of Stonegard, i though of this band when i was listening to El Caco, they are sort of related and have the same fans in Norway, those who are not really fans of black metal or are into that are dragged more towards Stonegard and El Cace (and probably also Susperia)

I was gonna mention Stonegard too, but then my lazy ass saw your first post.

in this thread i just want to highlight the other metal that is in Norway that is not traditional black metal, symponic black metal or viking metal, Black metal tends to be the focuspoint when people think of norwegian metal scene, but their is plenty of alternative, doom, stoner, sludge, metalcore, progressive, death and goth metal acts that also needs acculades, it is viberent scenes outside the cold, gritty and lov-fi Black metal,
