What is the criteria for an album review to be placed on the MMA's front page? Who decides what reviews do/don't get placed on the front page?

All recently written reviews go to the front page automatically. There is only room for five reviews in the two categories, so when a new review is written, it gets added while the oldest of the five disappears from the front page.
Reviews of non-metal releases do not appear on the front page - I don't think it's een possible to review non-metal releases. |

Thanx Kim. I thought maybe the reviews had to be authorized by someone and/or a team. That's great to hear as no politics, favourtism and discrimination can occur.

As long as the reviews follow these guidelines: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=180 everyone is entitled to write and post reviews. In fact this is strongly encouraged.
