I really wanna explore jazz more as my experience is quite limited. The only jazz artists/bands I know of are John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Mccoy Turner, Snarky Puppy, Caravan Palace, and Diablo Swing Orchestra. If any of you guys have recommendations, I'm all ears!

Sorry I´m pretty much a novice in that area too. I usually find jazz grating on my ears (says the man who can fall aslepp peacefully while listening to Napalm Death ). I´ve listened to som jazz/rock like Mahavishnu Orchestra, Al Di Meola, Billly Copham and such, but seldom "real" jazz.

Just moved this to general music discussions.
I'm no jazz expert but I have listened to a lot of fusion/jazz rock. For pure jazz you could give Thelonius Monk, Charlie Parker and Jackie Mclean a go. Only discovered the latter a few years back myself and if you like hard bop it's good stuff. Like metal though there's so many different sub-genres so a good starting point would be to visit our sister site, Jazz Music Archives here... https://www.jazzmusicarchives.com/
