◙          TOMBS: Debut New Track Online

TOMBS has posted the first preview track, �Vermillion�, from their forthcoming album Path Of Totality online now via the band�s Facebook and MySpace pages. Path Of Totality, the follow-up to their acclaimed Winter Hours release, was recorded at Elmwood Recording studios in Dallas, TX with engineer John Congleton (BARONESS, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, BLACK MOUNTAIN, ST. VINCENT) and has been set for a June 20thinternational release date. Path Of Totality will be available on CD, 2xLP, and digitally and features artwork from Thomas Hooper of Hoopers Electric. CD pre-orders and a preview of Path Of Totality�s cover art can be accessed here.

 

TOMBS recently released a 14 track collection of early material, tracks from split releases, and previously unreleased demos titled Fear Is The Weapon. Fear Is The Weapon is strictly limited to a one-time pressing of 1,000 copies and is available exclusively through Relapse Mailorder at this location.

◙          RED FANG: �Murder The Mountains�Streaming On NPR.org

RED FANG�s forthcoming album Murder The Mountains is currently streaming in its entirety at NPR.org. Murder The Mountains will be streaming at that location until its international release on April 25th2011. RED FANG recorded Murder The Mountainswith THE DECEMBERISTS� Chris Funk and the album was mixed by Vance Powell (WHITE STRIPES, THE RACONTEURS). Murder The Mountains will be available on CD (pre-order here), 12� vinyl, and deluxe digital (available at iTunes).

 

RED FANG has recently released Murder The Mountains track �Wires� as a 7� and digital single. The digital single is available now through iTunes and the limited edition 7� is available here. The band has filmed a video for �Wires� with director Whitey McConnaughy (THE GOSSIP, MUDHONEY, FLOGGING MOLLY) in Portland, OR. An online premiere is expected imminently.

◙          BLOODIEST: �Descent� Streaming Online, In Stores Today

Chicago, IL�s BLOODIEST are currently streaming their debut album Descent in its entirety online now at this location. Descent sees its international release on April 11th on CD (order here) and digitally via iTunes. The album was recorded with engineer Sanford Parker at Steve Albini�s Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.

 

BLOODIEST were recently featured on Epitonic.com as part of the site�s official re-launch. Originally launched in 1999, Epitonic.combecame a hotbed of music discovery offering free and legal MP3s with each song being selected and written about by a young staff of music lovers. BLOODIEST are offering their track �Slave Rule�, off Descent, via Epitonic at this location. The band was also recently photographed for the TOMS �One Day Without Shoes�campaign. ◙          HORSEBACK: Debuts Track Off �The Gorgon Tongue�

HORSEBACK has posted the track �Veil Of Maya (The Lamb Takes the Lion)� off the second disc from their upcoming release The Gorgon Tongue online now at the band�s Facebook and MySpace pages. The Gorgon Tongue, which combines the Impale Golden Horn and Forbidden Planet albums together as a two-disc set, will see its release on May 23rd and is available for pre-order at this locationas well as digitally via iTunes.

 

Impale Golden Horn, Jenks Miller�s 2007 solo debut as HORSEBACK, was previously released on CD via Burly Time / Holidays for Quince and is now out-of-print. Impale Golden Horn will be disc one of The Gorgon Tongue set with Forbidden Planet being disc two. Forbidden Planet is the most recent of HORSEBACK recordings that was just released as a limited-to-100 cassette only release through Brave Mysteries.

 

HORSEBACK�s Relapse debut The Invisible Mountain is streaming in its entirety at this location. The Invisible Mountain was released last August and appeared on many year-end lists among rock and metal critics (Stereogum, Decibel, Verbicide, All Music Guide, OMG Vinyl, BrooklynVegan).

◙          INDIAN: Debut New Track Off �Guiltless�

Chicago, IL�s INDIAN has posted a third preview track, �Guilty�, taken from their Relapse debut Guiltless online now via TheObelisk.net. The band has previously posted Guiltlessalbum opener �No Grace� via the band�s MySpace and Facebook pages and the track �The End Of Truth� via MetalSucks.net. Guiltless will see its release on April 25th internationally on CD, 12� vinyl, and digitally. The CD and LP are available for pre-order now at Relapse.comand a deluxe digital edition with bonus track and digital booklet is available now at iTunes.

 

Guiltless was recorded at Semaphore Recordings in October with engineer Sanford Parker (UNEARTHLY TRANCE, PELICAN, MINSK, BLOODIEST). The album art, as designed by Scott Fricke, can be viewed now at IndianDoom.com.

 

INDIAN is currently in the process of booking a European tour. More information and confirmed cities and dates will be announced soon via Relapse Records.
