Gotta be the 2nd most influential guitarist ever for heavy metal music, both for his playing and for how he revolutionized gear and recording techniques.  There will never be another one like EVH,

Damn, didn't even know he had cancer. R.I.P. to one of the biggest legends in both metal and rock, think I might have a mini-marathon of their first four albums.
If I say fuck two more times that's forty-six fucks in this fucked up rhyme

Rest in peace to the force of nature, the one of a kind, the one that can never be replaced. We will never see the like of Eddie Van Halen, all the clishes of people whom gave something spessial and rare can be used and is rightfully used to honorably describe the impact on metal music Van Halen have had.

As a Solo person very few have ment more tp metal genre than Eddie.
