^ if you're exploring Paul BLey you could spend a lifetime! Dozens of albums Great Chili Peppers albums! One of my faves LOve the Cynic and Parliament as well This new Haken though? It's OK but fairly lukewarm for my ears GREAT album cover though  |

^Yeah for some reason I could never get into Haken...they've never done much for me. Maybe I'll go back and give' em a listen though as it has been awhile and perhaps my tastes have changed.

^ i liked the first couple albums from Haken but while most
proggers love The Mountain i find that album too bogged down by classic
prog worship. All their albums have a few great tracks and then a lot of
fluff. The new GOROD on the other hand is tech death bliss for my ears!

^ Ulthar is new to me but Gorod is one of my favorite bands. Every album is excellent for my tastes. A nice mix of tech death, melodic neoclassical and brutality. Something like Necrophagist but more progressive and unpredictable. The newest album is much more melodic than previous releases. The early ones are wild as fuck sorta like early Gojira. NOW.....
