Just got my most anticipated 2022 promo, already. Two tracks in so far, and holy shit did Russell Allen kill it on his track! Clap

^Listened to both discs the first time, and now I'll be mixing different versions together on separate playlists, to try and decide which vocals I prefer. So far, I'd say the album itself isn't hitting quite as hard Victims of the Modern Age, but definitely stronger than the first album, and still fantastic overall. This definitely isn't a Transitus situation for me, thankfully.

I need to give it a more thorough listen, but sounds promising.

Hmm...another by the numbers album by Dream Theater. Yes it´s high quality material and the performances are strong too, but I think I miss a few surprises or something a little different. Review is coming up soon:

Holy fuck...

...I´ve only known Dyscarnate by name before listening to this EP, but good God this is some intense, brutal and aggressive death metal:
DYSCARNATE - Annihilate to Liberate cover
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/dyscarnate/annihilate-to-liberate(ep)

I´m definitely going to listen to their full-lengths and write reviews too.

^I´m not a huge fan of Satriani (Vai is my hero), but that particular album is great. That´s the only Satriani album I listen too (and maybe a song or two from Surfin...)

^I'm not sure who I would call my favorite. I like Satriani, Vai, Moore, etc. I need to listen to them more.
