^ pretty decent album but that cover art is quite lame for a death metal band with a name like Carcass!

Another great album by Deceased. Probably one of the most underrated artists out there. People seem to find it hard to appreciate their horror tinged and hard to define metal style. The combination of traditional heavy metal/speed metal and thrash metal and death metal is actually quite unique, and altough the vocals can get a little one-dimensional in nature, they are such a great organic playing band, and their discography is so even in quality and style, that you can pick almost any album (except the debut album) and enjoy it if you like their style. http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/deceased/ghostly-white

I´ve become a fan of Deivos over the last couple of years. They are a brutal technical death metal act worth a listen or two: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/deivos/endemic-divine

Already a very strong early contender for power metal album of the year. It reminds me of Timeless Miracle at points, which could only ever be a great thing.

Just added another release to my list of the best 2021 releases. If you enjoy late 80s Sepultura and Sodom, I´d suggest you give this album a listen. http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/mortal-vision/mind-manipulation
