◙          BLOODIEST: Exclusive MP3 Available Now Via the Newly Re-Launched Epitonic.com

BLOODIEST are among the 12 bands premiering new music exclusively via Epitonic.com in celebration of the site�s official re-launch. Originally launched in 1999, Epitonic.combecame a hotbed of music discovery offering free and legal MP3s with each song being selected and written about by a young staff of music lovers. Epitonic �11 aims to recapture the spirit of the original site by curating and filtering underground music but using new technology that was not available ten years ago.

 

BLOODIEST are offering their track �Slave Rule�, off their debut album Descent, via Epitonic at this location. This follows the band�s premiere of Descent album opener �Fallen�, last week via Crustcake.comand the previously posted track �Pastures� via the band�s MySpace and Facebookpages. Descent will see an April 11th international release date and is available for pre-order at this locationand digitally via iTunes. Descent was recorded with engineer Sanford Parker at Steve Albini�s Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.

◙          ZOMBI: Debut First Track Off Escape Velocity

ZOMBI has premiered the first preview track, �Shrunken Heads�, off their forthcoming album Escape Velocity online now via Stereogum.com. Escape Velocity is set for a May 23rdinternational release date and will be available on CD (pre-order here), LP, and digitally (iTunespre-order). Additional audio samples with be posted shortly.

 

Escape Velocity, the follow-up to 2009�s Spirit Animal, was recorded in part by ZOMBI�s Steve Moore and A.E. Paterra in Pittsburgh, PA and Nyack, NY. The album was mastered by Denis Blackham (THE WHO, LED ZEPPELIN, WILSON PICKETT, KRAFTWERK) at Skye Mastering in Scotland. Escape Velocity also features artwork courtesy of Jeremy Schmidt (BLACK MOUNTAIN).

◙          TOMBS: Complete Work On New Album

TOMBS has completed work on their brand new album, Path Of Totality. Path Of Totality, the follow-up to their acclaimed Winter Hours release, was recorded at Elmwood Recording studios in Dallas, TXwith engineer John Congleton (BARONESS, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, BLACK MOUNTAIN, ST. VINCENT) and has been set for a June 20thinternational release date. Path Of Totality will be available on CD, 2xLP, and digitally and features artwork from Thomas Hooper of Hoopers Electric. CD pre-orders and a preview of Path Of Totality�s cover art can be accessed here.

 

TOMBS recently released a 14 track collection of early material, tracks from split releases, and previously unreleased demos titled Fear Is The Weapon. The collection is currently streaming in its entirety at this location. Fear Is The Weapon is strictly limited to a one-time pressing of 1,000 copies and is available exclusively through Relapse Mailorder at this location.

◙          INDIAN: Debut New Track

Chicago, IL�s INDIAN has posted a second preview track, �The End of Truth�, taken from their Relapse debut Guiltless online now via MetalSucks.net. The band has previously posted Guiltlessalbum opener �No Grace� via the band�s MySpace and Facebook pages. Guiltless will see its international release on April 25th on CD, 12� vinyl, and digitally. The CD is available for pre-order now at Relapse.comand a deluxe digital edition with bonus track and digital booklet is available now at iTunes.

 

Guiltless was recorded at Semaphore Recordings in October with engineer Sanford Parker (UNEARTHLY TRANCE, PELICAN, MINSK, BLOODIEST). The album art, as designed by Scott Fricke, can be viewed now at IndianDoom.com.
