Just found this band on RYM. It's tagged as avant-garde metal there and while calling it metal on MMA may be a bit of a stretch (I expect we'll add this under Metal Related though, like we did for Les Chants Du Hasard), I thought it might be something interesting to share. I'm especially interested in what our biggest death metal fans would think of this.

It's essentially death metal, especially in the vocals, but the music is acoustic.

Hmmm, musically it's not bad but the vocals somehow sound a little ridiculous in that setting. I would have rather heard some clean vocals there. This is something I often feel about melodic death metal bands as well where musically they're bordering on being quite commercial and I'm sat there thinking get yourself a traditional metal singer and you'll sound much better. Growls work best for me when the music warrants it like in most death metal except melodic dm.

Be interesting to hear that track with electric instrumentation.

I'm listening to it on Bandcamp now. I like it. Weird and freaked out shit. The only problem i have is that it starts to sound the same about halfway through the album. An interesting mix of instruments. I do not foresee this become the next best thing though. It's a bit too avant-garde for mass appeal, however as someone who likes weird music, i'm digging it

Oh, i wouldn't call this metal though. This is more like death folk or something. If it didn't have death metal vocals no one would think it's metal at all
