^ The same thing happened to me. And I was checking Amazon every day since the first single dropped waiting for the pre-order to appear and ordered the day it did. Not amused. I did a live chat with them to complain and they blamed it on Covid-19 - yet I've had this happen with pre-orders for years. I'm the last person here who needs to be reminded how serious Covid-19 is, but it's sure become everyone's favourite excuse.

Hopefully second time lucky on getting this. A BIG FUCK YOU to Amazon for waiting until the day I was scheduled to receive it to tell me they couldn't supply it. I've only had it on order for a whole month.

Add this ebay win into the haul for another £2.99.
It was about time my collection had an Ihsahn album in it.

Bought more today than I have in a while:
Completed my Kiuas collection. Long overdue. Improves my Kylesa collection as well as my selection of sludge/stoner metal. £15.87 for all four.

I liked Obsidian a lot, though I do currently rank it 3rd out of those since the growls were brought back.

It's the most gothic they've been since at least Tragic Idol, but it still has a fair bit of Nick's growls, though more cleans than Medusa did. The last song and bonus tracks feel more like Medusa than anything else on it.

^ Only had a quick listen to the new Paradise Lost. Seemed like they were going back in a more goth direction which I was disappointed about after the last 2 excellent doomier releases. I need to give it a proper go though before passing a verdict.

I liked it musically, but thought the lyrics sucked a bit. Anyway, relevant news to this thread, which you possibly know already: Record Store Day postponed this year.

Both great albums, that Rob Zombie album is one of my favorites from him.

It's very good although their songs about social problems come off a bit clunky.

^ Yes you make a good point. Not too bad for 2 hours of music.

I think it was worth the price plus shipping considering it's a very long double - almost two hours. A lot of doubles actually clock in at just over 80 minutes which is single CD max anyway (if they're not actually under that - singles dressed up as doubles). This one after exchange rate was £19.56. Looks expensive but if you think that you've previously paid like £12.99 for something that lasts less than an hour and it starts to look like a steal.

Was looking at that but was a bit expensive including the shipping. Guess you're getting a double though.
