Wow! That's awesome man.
There's enough here to fill a life time, but you picked a good place to start. Do try to get to the East Coast sometime, ideally the NYC area, this is the only place that really matters
 It was actually my first time to California. I've wanted to go for years, I finally had the means so I just did it. No reason, or even a plan really. Just went. I loved every moment of it.

No I´m afraid it was mostly a business trip. I stayed in Redlands about 1½ hours drive East of LA. I drove around a bit when I had some time off, so I visited LA (and did have a look out over the Pacific for the first time in my life) and also took this tram: http://www.pstramway.com/ up in the Mountains near Palm Springs. Pretty scary experience since I´m incredibly afraid of heights (fortunately the highest point in Denmark is 128m
), but it was a great experience anyway .

Well the ones I met were very friendly and generally service minded. You won´t get that kind of service everywhere in Europe
. Interesting how people are always asking if you´re doing fine and small talking to you. It might be a bit shallow in the end, but they sure do make you feel welcome.
...oh and make sure you give me notice if you ever visit Denmark while you´re in Europe. I know a few hard rock bars...I´ll buy you couple of beers  and show you around.Edited by UMUR - 06 Nov 2013 at 2:40pm |
