Patrick's album is the first of it's kind that I've reviewed, so I have to take a bit of careful consideration while judging it. I'm pretty excited, though.

I feel bad for running late compared to others, lol! I'm on my fifth listen on mine right now, and I like to hit around 6-8 before attempting a review, so right now I'm aiming to have it up by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yep, thanks for taking part everyone! Glad to see no one hated the albums they were chosen.
Now for the £1 million question, did you prefer this method or the one of everyone reviewing the same album. I think this one was definitely easier and less disruptive to the site as a whole.

Yeah, I greatly enjoyed the new method. Much less disruptive on the site, and it's also fun because you can come on to the site every day while it's on and there's a chance you'll see a challenge review, so that's cool. And of course the whole mystery alum thing also makes it fun.

Yes I liked that mystery aspect of it. A cool aspect of it is that if we do this again there's no guarantee that any of the pairs will be the same again either.

I like both methods, but I had the most fun this time around. I really like the mystery aspect as well, it's fun not knowing what everyone is going to review.

I liked the old method of seeing so many different opinions for the same release appear at once, but I did prefer this. It was more interesting not knowing what everyone had been chosen and I actually felt less pressure to do my review knowing I could post it whenever. I think we could do these ones more often than the other due to it not being so disruptive as well. I'm actually quite keen to do another.

Getting a bespoke selection from your reviewing partner is nice, gives it a bit more of a personal touch.

I enjoyed it best the new way too. The only downside I guess is it was less noticeable than when we all reviewed the same album and posted at the same time give or take... Certainly as has been said, less disruptive.

It would probably be a good idea to compile links to each of the reviews somewhere in the forum so everyone can easily find them if they are interested in reading them.
