Fates Warning - Awaken The Guardian
 I'm honestly not sure what the cover is. I don't pay much attention to the lyrics, but is it anything like the Guardian of Forever from Star Trek (episode: "City on the Edge of Forever")? That's what the image reminds me of. |

This thread is for sharing cover artwork from metal albums which feature spaceships and other sci-fi themes.
Helstar: "Burning Star"  A space dog fight and a death-star like backdrop - nice! Nocturnus: "Thresholds"  A spaceship in orbit, planets towers, space stations - nice! Nocturnus: "The Key"  Arigato, Mr Roboto! Iron Maiden: "The Final Frontier"  Nice idea, but the alien Eddie is not cool. Iron Maiden: "Somewhere in Time"  Now, this Blade Runner-like theme is just my favorite album cover artwork ever! Fast Kutz: "Burnin'"  Human vs. machine! Fates Warning: "The Spectre Within"  The strange Cyber-Helmet-Woman strikes me as being sort of sci-fi like. I don't know who she is, but I think she is featured in one their videos. Does anybody know who this character is? Is the the traveler in time? Suffocation: "Effigy of the Forgotten"  A sort of robot-like machine harvesting "organic material" - nice. |
