Metal Music Archives List Challenges

In a tech death mood much of the time right now. 

I got 78/250. 

Bit of a Chastain binge today to round this one off. Also finished my revisit of the Death studio albums and I have to say I've definitely underappreciated this band in the past. I only own two of them in my actual collection (Leprosy, which I've owned for a long time and Symbolic, which I picked up in the last few years) but I definitely have to complete this catalogue sooner rather than later. 

I would say the same of Enslaved, who I'm close to the end of an out of sequence discography run. I last went through their stuff in 2020, but much like Death I only actually own two, those being Isa and RIITIIR. Considering the volume of albums they have, they must have one of the most solid discographies going. 

Also recently gaining more appreciation for both the catalogues of Fates Warning and Threshold. With FW I've long enjoyed their USPM era with John Arch and also like the Arch/Matheos albums, but I've struggled to really click with their other work with Ray singing, except No Exit which has more in common with what went before to my ears. I own FWX on CD, but I don't dig that one so much. As for Threshold they never really grabbed until Legend of the Shires came along, which I love. I'm gaining more appreciation for their catalogue now which I'm going through in order. Of the first three I think I like Psychedelicatessen the most. I expect the next list I post here will have more of their stuff, as well as Fates Warning and maybe some repeats of Chastain and Death, both very different acts that I'm digging a lot this week.
