Thought I'd do better on the thrash albums. 26 out of 100 for me.

I'd also recommend The Cheeky Girls. They're the best grindcore band ever!

I can highly recommend these two grindcore albums, which are among my favorites of the genre:

BRUTAL TRUTH - Need to Control cover
AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED - Agorapocalypse cover

...and of course this one (even though it´s a pretty blatant Repulsion clone):
CRETIN - Freakery cover

I have a Rotten Sound album tucked away somewhere that I haven't listened to in years. That's about where my experience with grind begins and ends. Haven't played it in so long that I haven't even rated it here. So if their album Exit is not on that grindcore list I'll score a whopping 0.

I'm about to have a look at the thrash list. I was never as into thrash as some other genres, so I'm not expecting that high a score for this one.

I haven't heard a whole lot myself. I'll admit, it's mostly due to how many disgusting and revolting names and album covers are out there. LOL

I've listened to a bunch of grindcore myself. I am generally not into goregrind and pornogrind and that stuff; I am more into the political and socially conscious stuff. Maybe some of Napalm Death's deathgrind stuff is a good place to start and then work one's way into more and more all out grind territory.

I could start suggesting stuff to you, but it might get a bit overwhelming. An easy one (for grindcore!) for most metal fans is Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses by Brutal Truth.

Nasum's "Inhale/Exhale" and "Human 2.0" are a couple of my favorite Grindcore albums.

20/100 on the thrash list, which is about what I would have expected.

42/100. There's some strange stuff in that list, and a lot of stuff I expected to be there wasn't!

Only 25 here for me. I got a lot of dues to pay still where thrash is concerned.

I got 44, that's the best I've done so far with the MMA lists.

Oh, and I think you'd really like that Powermad "Absolute Power" album, its US power/thrash sound should be right up your alley. Thumbs Up

Yeah, I'm having to put in an absolute shitload. Good news is, we're first port of call on a couple of them!

It's easier when the albums are already in the database. Had to put in only a few for thrash. 2015 list took ages though.

I'm having a go at doing a grindcore list. It's a bit time consuming!

As can be seen from my result I'm no expert on black metal. Heard 11 out of 100.

Even worse on power metal - only heard 5 out of 100 though there were a few more I'd heard bits of.
