The staring eyes looks familiar to me but I haven't placed it yet.

Yes, stuck on that as well as the ship and the non full length album with the staring eyes

Star baby, did you deep fry a piece of the Great Barrier Reef?

The style looks quite distinct but I can't even begin to place this.

I'll give you a hint with this one, it's not from a full-length studio album. |

I keep thinking the ship is familiar too but I think I'm just wrongly connecting it with Rammstein's Rosenrot which it obviously isn't. Not got a clue on the one with the rose.

Actually thought it was V at first, but then I saw the sign was different and it was this album. Can't think of what the others could be, the ship one looks like it might be familiar but don't know what. Here's my next one: |

I actually got the Killers one by chance as my first thought was something in the mass of details that is Somewhere in Time.
Lucky to spot it actually because on my CD copy which is the 1998 remaster that part of the cover is cropped away.

Spot on. I always remember that specific detail as a Killers t-shirt was the first piece of Iron Maiden clothing I bought and my immature 15 year old self found the sex shop highly amusing.

Posted at the exact same time as Adam. Never would've gotten it without that hint, now that's a small detail!

Essentially, yes. Went to gothic metal and there it was. No takers on the sex shop one? Clue: NWOBHM |

Recent addition. It's probably I've seen the cover before of course given how well known it is, but I wouldn't have got it otherwise.
Thinking hard on what to try here next.

Well it's on the site, so why not? Surprised it was gotten so quickly as well though, was it because they were a fairly recent addition or is it just that iconic of an album?

Yep. Was my clue a little too much of a giveaway (seeing as it's literally on the gothic metal genre page)?

Damnit, someone's on their game today.
But your one is: Nice try with throwing in a hip-hop album.

Somehow I remembered this cover, the year, and knew it was either black metal or death metal: and what comes around, goes around with another album with one rating: |

Yep. And tracking it down's fine, even if by fluke.
