This one is long overdue but certainly isn't disappointing so far.

I thought they were over. Didn´t expect to see another album from them.

That's a reasonable assumption but they never split up or even went on hiatus. It's just been seven years to get to this point.

Well, this may not mean much because I tend to take a long time to properly judge new albums from my absolute favorite bands, but this is their first one since Once to instantly impress me, so that's probably a good sign.

Streaming right now, can't wait to get the CD:
One of those bands that can't simply be placed into one sub-genre.

Perhaps this one won't take as long to settle on after all: The second listen went even better than the first. Seems like I may be giving a Nightwish album 5 stars for the first time since Oceanborn (though to be clear, it sounds more similar to Once and DPP than anything else.)

While 'The Heretic Anthem' is one of my favorites on this album, I can't help but chuckle at 'If you're 555, them I'm 666' LOL

Thought it was pretty good...definitely an interesting take on the genre, kinda dubstep-like in a way..wasn't really paying attention to the vocals or lyrics though(I rarely do...'more of an instrumental guy)...but yeah, I'll be giving this a few more spins as well as checking out the rest of their discog.Thumbs Up

Np:

Haven't heard this in ages! Still love them!Clap
