The train scene remains one of Spider-man's greatest film moments.

Japanese silent and an early example of surrealism film. There are no intertitles, translated or otherwise, so what's going on is very open to interpretation.

A lot of fun, though sometimes much more corny than the first Burton Batman.

My next step through missed Disney movies is one I still see a ton of hype over even though it's six years old later this year, and I have to say I found this one kinda meh.

It got huge attention here because it had Pasifika characters.

Currently on an Aliens binge. I watched the first 2 movies, now I'm going to play Alien Isolation

Strictly speaking this is a fine action thriller, but at the end of the day it's a movie where Bod Odenkirk, a man who isn't what he appears, kills a lot of Russians by the writer of a better film where Keanu Reeves, also a man who isn't what he appears, also kills a lot of Russians.

I'd forgotten a lot about this one, as well as the trilogy as a whole. I'd still say this one is extremely underrated though. But re-watching it in 2022 just shows how much there should have been a Spider-man 4.

Bond reaches the heights of ridicule when he's forced to don a clown costume. A film with its ups and downs. Only one more of the Roger Moore era to go and I'm feeling like he was past his prime in the part by this point, not that he's even close to my favourite Bond anyway.

How to fuck up a pretty good movie in one easy lesson. At it's core, this is actually a reasonably smart and very good looking action/adventure movie, but Disney seemed to do every thing they could to sabotage it. They changed the name, it was badly marketed, and they had the wrong people making it (experienced in animation, not humans!) Anyway, it came out 10 years ago this week.

Yeah, nah. Not great. It could have been but for John Wayne and the American chest beating flag waving bullshit that came with him.

Meh. The usual survival movie crap, albeit with Cthulhu.

Like most musicals the story is a bit lightweight, but the dancing here is amazing! Love Gene Kelly's dancing a lot. And this has a 20 minute ballet scene for people who don't like ballet (i.e. me!)

This is considerably more silly than the first two in this series, which were already more silly than more recent Batman films. Overall I didn't find it as bad as it's sometimes made out to be (not to the extent of the next one admittedly, which I've still got to watch), but its easily the weakest Batman film I've ever seen and I include the bloated Batman v Superman in that statement.

Sounds like a good plan. I´ll have to do that myself someday.

Stone cold killer! Love the full-on action scenes, and there's enough of a story to hold it all together.

Low budget, stupid, wildly scientifically incorrect premise, awful acting... but actually kind of fun. The stop-motion animation is pretty cool, and the anachronistic Neanderthal brings a bit of a comic touch.

Well that was a fucking yawn. The supposedly sexy bits were desperately unsexy, and the drama was absolutely plodding. Would have been better to watch the Caligula episode of I, Claudius and then spent 10 minutes on PornHub.

Really fucking stupid, but I enjoyed it. I honestly thought it was going to be about a power metal band with a name like Fire Saga, but it's not. In among a lot of really obvious jokes there's the odd moment of inspiration - the ghostly Demi Lovato and the Elven intervention both come to mind. And it has Graham Norton.
