I recently watched both of the Harold & Kumar movies... nothing spectacular, but they were a lot of fun!
I also watched this two nights ago:  Menace II Society (1993) This is probably the best 'hood film' I've ever seen. A really accurate and frightening depiction of ghetto life in the early nineties'. The ending was also spectacular! Definitely worth watching for those who enjoy good, gritty dramas (and are okay with a fuck-ton of profanity!!!!). |

I watched this film earlier today:
 Dead Presidents (1995) It's another movie by the Hughes Brothers (the directors of Menace II Society), and this was another excellent crime drama. It was an amazing portrayal of what serving in a war can lead some people to do - it was another gritty, honest, and very mature film. This one is a masterpiece IMO. |
