Played Van Halen more than any of the others.

Saw the Leppards on the "On through the night" tour in February 1980, jeez I'm old! LOL

I saw Def Leppard once.  It was either on a later Hysteria tour or the Adrenalize tour, I don't recall for sure.  I placed my vote for Van Halen as well.  I've seen them 3 or 4 times over the years plus seeing David Lee Roth solo the one time.

Out of this list, I only saw Dokken and Twisted Sister. The former were good, but not that impressive, while the Sisters were a hoot. I will never forget Dee Snider getting the whole Castle Donington crowd in 1983 to chant 'sick motherf*****s* along with himLOL.

Twisted Sister would have been a fun band to see.  I have their Live at Hammersmith album but I haven't seen them live.  I already mentioned seeing Poison, Dokken, Def Leppard and Van Halen.  The only other band that I saw on the list was Cinderella.  I saw them with two other bands; one was The Bullet Boys.  I don't remember who the other was now.  It might have been Winger or maybe Warrant.  D'Oh, I can't remember.  Edit:  I confirmed that it was Winger that was the other opening act.

Have you ever heard Dee Snyder's radio show?  I catch it every once in a while on the weekend.  It is him playing his favorite heavy metal hits.  He really is a pretty funny guy.

I have to choose between Motley Crue, Ratt and Van Halen! You my friend must have one sick, twisted mind... I guess I'll have to go with Van Halen.

I put in votes for the two most over-the-top glam bands of all time:

VVI and Nitro

Oh wait...not choices. All glam fans should have at least heard these insane bands.

I'm not familiar with WI but Nitro is definitely over the top, featuring the dynamic high pitched vocals of Jim Gillette and the ridiculously fast guitar soloing of Michael Angelo Batio.

I was reading Nitro's Bio.  They sound interesting.  I am really surprised that I never heard of them.  That and lucky b*****d married Lita Ford.

Negoba, I'm having trouble finding a reference link for WI.
Would you be able to help with that?

VVI is Vinnie Vincent Invasion (Vinnie Vincent played on Kiss' Lick it Up and wrote some of those songs)

It was definitely his band, and the guys got sick of it, and formed their own band called Slaughter.

Nitro was where shred legend Michael Angelo Batio got his start. They also had Jim Gillette who advertised vocal lessons in the music mags.

Both had moments that were so bad and over-the-top you couldn't help but love em.

And lots of insanely fast and not terribly musical shredding.

Ah, I thought that was W I not V V I.  I actually do have a Vinnie Vincent Invasion album on vinyl.  I probably haven't listened to it in close to 20 years.

Of those in the list my vote goes to Van Halen. Outside the list it would be Extreme or Skid Row.
