The 2nd Anthriel album is being released this Friday, 07 July
 It's only been seven years since their stellar debut album came out. If you love Symphony X like I do, Anthriel is one of those bands that truly does a very good job at sounding like Symphony X, but with their own style. Somebody uploaded all of the songs for the new album on youtube (I would hate that if I were in a band, having everything from my new album up on youtube before it's even released) and I listened to a bunch of it and am definitely ordering it. Sounds great! |

Yeah, that Myrkur song is amazing! I think it's safe to say album will be getting blasted to hell on RYM, but will likely get great ratings here, just like her last one, lol!

More Epica is always welcome but it does kinda annoy me that they did it this way instead of including those songs as a double album or bonus tracks (I'd argue these will be worth more than the acoustic bonus disc we did get) because now they're charging full album price for an EP. At least on Amazon.

Epica is releasing a new EP in September, with six new songs that were apparently written during the recordings of The Holographic Principle, but they didn't fit in and the band didn't want to do a double album, so instead we get this, which is pretty cool!

I really liked Dystopia. If it is indeed better than Dystopia, the new Iced Earth will be a very good album.

Based on the four pre-release tracks I'm expecting this new Iced Earth to at minimum be their best album with Stu Block and also their best since Horror Show.

I'm getting really psyched for the new Iced Earth now. After an underwhelming first impression Raven Wing has grown on me, and I liked the other two songs right from the start.

Two minute sample of new Timeless Miracle (who were featured in our second reviewers challenge):
Sounding absolutely glorious! Looks like the album's finally coming along, and they apparently have just a couple songs to finish, so hopefully it will be out by the end of the year. If not, then next year for sure!
