Chequred Past would qualify for addition in hard rock, not so sure about Detective. Will have to listen some more. Some of their songs seem to fit but others seem a bit lightweight.

Hi!
I think Detective and Chequered Past are missing from the MMA. Both bands were fronted by Michael Des Barres, who later would replace Robert Palmer as the singer in The Power Station. Detective is some enjoyable 70s hard rock, sounding like Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie, and Bad Company. Chequered Past were a short-lived supergroup with Des Barres from Detective, Clem Burke from Blondie, Steve Jones from Sex Pistols, and Tony Sales from Utopia. They played some generic, but still enjoyable, 80s hard rock, not to different from what Steve Jones later would do on his solo albums. Regards
