Could the next reviewer's challenge go back to the old format of reviewing older albums with no reviews? I would much rather go back to not being restricted to new releases.

+1 Most of the rest of your negative reviews haven't been ill received on this site, so as long as you remember to talk about the actual album this time I say go for it. I doubt this band attracts the same crowd as Elder, so you're probably safe from the fanboy brigade.  Or I wouldn't mind swapping it with the Deathcore album I got.

Black Country Communion - BCCIV (Reviewed only by Kingcrimsonprog) Spotify It is awful, and I am quite willing to savage the fuck out of it, but does anyone else want it for a positive review instead? The last negative review I did for one of these wasn't very well received. |

I've been busy with other things lately, but I'll give a couple listens to one of my albums tonight (probably Vinsta) and hopefully have a review up by Saturday, and then hopefully have a second one up next weekend. Once I get those two done, I'll likely review either Keldian or Bare Infinity as well, if I have time before I'm ready to get back into my promo reviews.

I thought I would rate this higher at first but I have a bad habit of assigning more stars than really aligns with my rating system. I'll have to change a few existing reviews before the best of year vote. I'm at least going to look into the Pure Wrath split as well, and maybe do a couple of other reviews before the year is out.

Got my first one posted. I updated some of the info on it. Changed it from sludge to stoner, because it is, and updated the line-ups. Steven McDonald has actually joined The Melvins as a full member now.
