The Shadow Gallery (post pics of yourself)

MAN OH MAN!  I just got back from Prog Power USA XIII and it was AWESOME!  Maybe the best year I've been and I've now been 7 times.  Epica was amazing, Beyond the Bridge was great, Serenity was great, Redemption was great.  Hmm, am I forgetting anyone...SYMPHONY X!!!!!  AHHHHHH!!!!  I've seen them 4 times now, and as I said before I've been to Prog Power 7 times, and I think that was the best show I've seen at Prog Power and the best I've seen Sympnony X.  I was completely exhausted by the time they came up - so much so that I was falling asleep even though I was enjoying Pretty Maids (I just could not physically keep my eyes open).  But when Symphony X came on, the adrenaline they infused into the audience was palpable - they completely electrified the audience.  Anyways, here are some photos - below is my take this year from signatures:

Very nice guy - some kid was talking his ear off when I finally interrupted to see if he'd do that picture, and then he started talking to me about Dream Theater and Symphony X and other progressive stuff when he saw my guitar pick necklace.

I got a picture in front of the Redemption signing table, but it was really really blurry (dim lighting).    And I got a couple in front of the Epica table and they're blurry too.    But it was a great festival.  We met a guy named Kenji who had come all the way from Japan for the festival this year.  He was like a deer caught in the headlights, it was so funny!  He only knew about Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Epica as far as Prog/Power goes, and barely knew english (first time in US).  We tried to hang out with him most of the festival 'cuz he was a cool kid and we wanted to make sure he had someone to hang out with.

As you can tell, I'm very tired and excited and tired and thrilled and...yes, indeed.  I need a nap...but I have kids.
