Heavy metal for me means metal.  None of the people on that list I see as a metal god in any capacity, although if he wants a classic kind of metal figure (the mention of Manowar in the joke option sort of suggests he doesn't) it would have to be Tony Iommi, which is still a vote for Other.

I can tell you right now that ever since Ozzy released his string of pop metal albums, he is not a god of heavy metal.  Ever since he left Black Sabbath, none of his material was interesting to me.

Yes, people. The time has come: who are the highest name of Heavy Metal?

In my opinion is Dio. Many consider Ozzy (mostly people from USA, I think), but Dio is the master.
