Both are imo the next generation of stoner/doom/sludge of progressive vain, sort of takinh the ralay stick from Mastodon in terms of were heavy metal is going next.

Im curius to know which MMA thinks is most exieting and exietes the metal community the most.

Two very decent bands with, both in all honesty neck and neck in terms of which I've listened to more. Going for Yob though.

I've heard more from Elder, but suspect I'll end up liking Yob more when I've checked out more of their albums.

Old poll/thread, old comment from me. All these years later finally went through Yob's work and loved them. They've grabbed me in a way that Elder, though I've enjoyed them, has never managed to.
