Mutter, no question - although my personal favourite is Sennsucht.

Definitely Mutter, although Reise Reise is very good too. Not that familiar with their others though, if at all.

I've only heard the first three albums, from which Sehnsucht was my favourite as well. I got bored of all of them pretty badly and sold them years ago, though. Would be interesting to hear them again.

^Sounds like my story with Rammstein too. I didnt sell my albums though, but theyve collected dust in my basement for a couple of years now. Ill dig them out and write a couple of reviews someday.

I remember when I saw Rammstein do Du Hast in some MTV Awards program - I loved it but everyone else thought it was a joke, a heavy band singing in German. But when Mutter came everyone I knew was a fan suddenly Tongue I loved Mutter when it came out, but as I couldn't understand the lyrics the music didn't have that much staying power.

I've never got bored of Sennsucht or Mutter, and I think it's great to hear a band singing in their national language - even with my limited grasp of the German language, the songs are even more powerful when you understand the lyrics.

Many of the songs are instant classics - and that's why I don't listen to Rammstein constantly, as I don't get anything additional out of them (with the exception of "Engel") on each listen. This isn't a put down, as what I do get, as with most classics, is that buzz of pure enjoyment when I hear them after staying away for a while.

I'd say Reise Reise
