^ I searched on ebay the other day... the cartridge ALONE doesn't cost less than $50 in every instance I've seen! That would be cheaper than I could buy it for at the game store I go to (they have it for about $70 if I remember correctly), but that's still a hell of a lot for an N64 game!

No, but I remember the promo at the time, it looked great but I never got to buy it! Have searched for it a few times, I should try again. Will hit ebay perhaps

I actually had Echoes first, only picked up the first one when it became cheap. Both are great games though. Since I don't have a Wii though I never got to play the third game.

If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure I played a Conker game on the Game Boy Color back in the day. I don't have the cartridge anymore (unfortunately), but I remember the game being... uhh.. more 'family friendly' than Bad Fur Day is said to be!

^ No, but I sure as fuck want to. It looks amazing from everything I've seen - unfortunately, it's been quite pricey every time I've seen a copy. I need to pick it up one day, though.

Yes, Perfect Dark was heroic - I still play that one semi-regular. Loved the fact that it had co-op mode too

I'm playing this game at the moment, which is pretty similar to the GTA series: It's glitchy as fuck and the controls are pretty sketchy, but the game is pretty great so far. In many ways it's an improvement over the first game in the series, and I liked that one quite a bit. |

Great game! Although the N64 didn't have as many FPS titles as, say, the PS1, I think the quality of them is substantially better than most platforms. Games like Goldeneye and Doom 64 alone are enough to secure its place as an amazing console for shooters.
I never played Echoes back in the day. Still need to check that one out! I played the original around 7 years ago, and I remember it being just way too difficult and confusing at the time. I was only 9 or 10 years old, so a game like that can be quite a challenge when the only FPS titles you're familiar with are COD and Halo! |

This said, I never beat the final boss in this one. Prefer Echoes personally. I remember having a play through of it last summer with a death metal soundtrack.

Today while in NYC with my family, I found a factory sealed copy of Hexen for the N64 for only $15! I'm a big fan of Heretic (the prequel to this game), so I'm absolutely stoked!
Also picked up Metroid Prime for the Gamecube for $10. I owned this a while ago, but I must've gotten rid of it at one point. I have a feeling I'd like it more nowadays. |

Same, I don't think I've ever had an old school cartridge pack up (I did take care of em but). Cracked Chrono Trigger yet?

I haven't had time to play video games lately, yet I still find the time to pick some up. At 57 cents, I couldn't turn down a copy of Final Fantasy Anthology for Playstation (FF V + FF VI).
