progressive metal is my favourite these days; traditional metal and proto and some thrash come next.

Had to go with death. Simply heavy, brutal, and heavy music. Another close contender was Prog metal. And when they combine they make a hell of a combo.

I guess it's between alt and traditional, with thrash perhaps having the third place. I'll go with traditional as it's been the thing to listen to lately.

I voted for Traditional metal with NWOBHM included. It is probably a toss up between that and glam metal for me.

I like a variety, but looking at some of my favorite metal bands, death metal is really jumping out.
