Also known as Saw Throat on one of their albums, Sore Throat were a 1980s-2000s early grindcore/crust punk band with plenty of metal influence.

Here's an outlier to their normal style, an album of heavy metal/sludge. |

Hmm...could you help catagorize each of their releases? It would be much easier for us to add the correct genre tags right away instead of having to go back and edit later.

All their albums (except Indestroy) pre-1990 are crust punk, so let's say, heavy metal so uh, what catagory does that fit best into? Are there many other punk based bands on the site? Anyway, Inde$troy from 1989 is their only sludge metal album. All 1990 onwards albums are grindcore.

Well probably put the pre-1990 albums in non-metal for now. Inde$troy in sludge and the rest in grindcore then. We might incorporate a hardcore sub at some point, but right now punk/hardcore and crust on the punk side of things instead of the grindcore side of things are placed in non-metal.
Does that sound reasonable?

Off the top of my head, Dystopia is the only crust-punk band on the site, and their stuff is in sludge metal Not sure if comparable |

^There are several "crusty" artists on MMA, but they mostly lean towards another sub genre and therefore are included in those subs.
