The 2 after that aren't that great either. Their groove metal period is certainly questionable.

100% pure autopilot, lol I usually like Amon Amarth, but I don't know, at least on first listen this feels like it's lacking the kind of energy and passion I'd expect from the band. They feel like they're just tired and possibly done, at this point.

Wow this is pretty hidious, considering what came before. A desperate attempt at staying relevant, when sticking to your guns is almost always the right decision... http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/vicious-rumors/something-burning

Really great stuff...

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/suicidal-tendencies/six-the-hard-way(ep) http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/suicidal-tendencies/freedumb http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/suicidal-tendencies/free-your-soul-and-save-my-mind This is definitely not my favorite era of Suicidal Tendencies, but Free Your Soul actually has quite a few great tracks. It´s just a bit too long and also features some pretty mediocre songs too.

I´ve been so wrong in my evaluation of this album. It´s much better than I originally gave it credit for: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/therion/beyond-sanctorum

I really enjoy this one. It´s on the softer side of progressive metal, but the melodies are strong and I just find it a very pleasant listen. I´m gonna check out more releases by these guys: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/caligulas-horse/moments-from-ephemeral-city

Not yet, though I'm looking forward to it. I still have to explore the albums leading up to it. I've only heard Resonance and Warning so far but like what I'm hearing! Now for the next album on my list: Edited by Psydye - 27 Jul 2022 at 4:01am |
