The AI generated cover artwork has made some pretty negative headlines, but the music has generally been praised. I think I need to give this one a few more spins though, because first impressions didn´t leave me with a great feeling. It´s a quality release, but I´m not a fan of Benton´s vocals post-2000. It´s like he´s lost a lot of power and his deep growling vocal style is one-dimensional and it´s often hard to understand what he says because it´s like he slurs...I´m just not a fan of that part of their music anymore. |
