Zeelion is a Swedish melodic metal/hard rock band with neo-classical influences.
The band was formed around April 1997 by Lenny, Sudden and Jonathan. In May we sat down starting to work on the material we all had came up with. After a couple of weeks we had 13 songs.
Then we had to find some more members. On keyboard we chose Mats Olsson who is a member of Lennys other band Zello (progressive rock but with no guitars), and on drums Fredo who had been a member of Schizophrenic Circus that was a hardrock band Lenny had a couple of years ago.
Zeelions first album was recorded in the old location of Studio Underground in Västerås. It took about one and a half month summer 1997. July and August. As we hadn't rehearsed much before, we rehearsed and arranged most of the songs in the studio while we were recording. It was made
