The embryo of WISDOM CALL started when I wanted to go back and do more straight forward classic heavy metal in the vein of ACCEPT, PRETTY MAIDS & IRON MAIDEN. When I formed my first band SEVEN SEAS in 1986 it was these band influences in our band. Now 13 years later I wanted to go back to my roots where I started so I got in touch with some musicians in Stockholm late 1999 to see if there was any interest.
NARNIA was still going on and we worked on material for our third album DESERT LAND that happened to be released in 2001 same year as WISDOM CALL. I have just formed my own record label called C.L. MUSIC & PUBLISHING later on RIVEL RECORDS and now when I had the full freedom I wanted to do a classic metal album besides NARNIA.
