Finnish band THE WICKED was formed by Necrotron and Lucius M.K. in 1999. A demo was ready by the following year, which was sent out to various labels for consideration. And while the record industry was contemplating whether or not to sign this act, they added Erzebeath Meggadeath to their ranks.
Spinefarm Records decided to sign the trio, and by the time their first album "...For Theirs is the Flesh" was ready to be released, their ranks had grown further, with the addition of Hotpinkplague.
As the band's initial effort was met with critical acclaim, a second effort was prepared. This production saw the light of day in 2004 as "Sonic Scriptures of the End Times / Songs to Have Your Nightmares With".
The Wicked have subsided their activities following this sophomore effort. The latest official news from the band came in 2006, when they announced that their current status was unsigned
