WALKNUT picture
Atmospheric black metal from Moscow, Russia that exists since 2006; they released their debut on April 24, 2007, titled “Graveforests and Their Shadows” through Stellar Winter Records. They claim their musical style to be influenced by northern nature and mysticism. Includes members from Temnozor, Forest and Nitberg. The song “Motherland Ostenvegr” is a free download on Stellar Winter’s website. The name was derived from Valknutr, the modern-invented name of an old Norse symbol that consists of three interlocked triangles and appears on Scandinavian rune stones in connection with Odin.
